Alpha Phi, Eta Gamma Chapter of The University of Akron
Welcomes You!

Pretty in Bordeaux, Perfect in Pearls,
Everyone's Wild about Alpha Phi Girls!

The Eta Gamma chapter of Alpha Phi was first founded at the University of Akron in 1986, and this year we are celebrating its 28th anniversary! My name is Ashley Reed and I am the Chapter President for the 2014 calendar year.

We hope you can get a glimpse into the wonderful life of Alpha Phi – one that is filled with service, scholarship and sisterhood. Whether it’s a Saturday morning at Haven of Rest, or at one of our philanthropy events – Red Dress Gala, King of Hearts, and Alpha Phiesta – our women are always contributing to our community. The proceeds from the events we hold benefit the Alpha Phi Foundation, which supports Women’s Heart Health, collegiate leadership programs, the Forget-Me-Not Fund and collegiate scholarships.

All of what we do wouldn’t be possible without the sisterhood that binds us. Our sisterhood is strengthened by the amazing memories and unique friendships that last for a lifetime. And it connects us to women all over the country.

I leave you with one closing remark. As Chapter President, it will be my mission to act in accord with the values set forth by our founders 141 years ago, and create a successful legacy for us all.

I hope you enjoy all there is to see on our site, and don’t hesitate to reach out with questions!
